PREAMBLE
Sixteen years ago, the computer revolution in Zambia was just starting. Few computers were in the country with many citizens having little or no experience with them.
Today, a much different picture has emerged with Zambia fully participating in the computer revolution. Computer systems and networks are a common place. However, there is a vacuum that has been created and needs to be filled. Currently, there is no shortage of computer equipment and software suppliers but there is a shortage of DEDICATED, RELIABLE and EFFICIENT IT support companies in Zambia.
It is not to say that there are not companies repairing and attending to IT problems, these companies are there. However, most companies providing some form of IT support do it as a "by-the-way". This, in most cases, is because they supplied the IT equipment.
